The purpose of the EGR valve is to stop the exhaust from entering the intake manifold. After installation, the signals indicating damage to the EGR valve disappear.

After blocking off the EGR power and engine response return and prevents future failures and carbon deposits in the intake system.

FIAT, ALFA, LANCIA with older type engines JTD (CF2):

– 1.9 8V 105KM

– 2.4 10V 136KM

COMMENTS:

In CF2 engines, i.e. 1.9 JTD 105 HP and 2.4 JTD 136 HP engines, where the valve is controlled by vacuum, it is possible to plug the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve without interfering with the controller. The computer won’t display the “check engine” error.
